Microsoft Visual Source Safe (VSS), is one of the most powerful code versioning tracking program available, and is also one of Microsoft's least documented product.  

   VSS is a great tool that helps developers keep tracking of different versions of their code in a secure database while giving many functionality including the ability to rollback to a different version of the code.

     It is correct that Microsoft do have documentations on VSS, but their support is limited.   After extensive research of over 2 years, we were able to do some stuff that are not even documentated.
